I've been thinking about your family lately, and I wanted to put something into words that I don't always get the chance to say. I see how hard you work. Not just the obvious things—the appointments, the paperwork, the routines, the therapies, the sleepless nights—but the invisible work. The constant planning. The advocating. The worrying. The mental load that follows you everywhere you go. I see the way you celebrate victories that other people might never notice. The moments when a transition goes a little smoother, when a smile lasts a little longer, when a hard day isn't quite as hard. Those moments matter. And so do you. Sometimes I wonder if anyone tells you that enough. I know there are days when you question yourself. Days when you wonder if you're doing enough. Days when exhaustion whispers that you're failing. From where I stand, I see something very different. I see a parent who shows up, over and over again, even when it's incredibly hard. I see courage. I see resilience. Most of all, I see love. Thank you for trusting me with a small piece of your family's story. That trust is something I never take lightly. Every time I walk through your front door, I remember that I'm stepping into someone's safe place, and I carry that responsibility with gratitude and respect. My role has never been to "fix" your family. Your family isn't broken. My hope is simply to walk beside you for a while. To help carry some of the weight. To celebrate the wins, help navigate the hard moments, and remind you that you don't have to do this alone. Your journey is unique, and while I can't promise every day will be easy, I can promise that when I'm with your family, you'll be met with patience, compassion, and understanding.
